Randy is a wine enthusiast, a barbeque master (North Carolina style), and knows what the word “petabyte” means, and is not afraid of it! He has more than 13 years of experience as a storage administrator, engineer, and solutions architect, as well as a long career in business management, which gives him a unique customer oriented approach to solving business problems with technology. His specialties are Server/Desktop Virtualization, Storage Design, Cloud Storage Solutions, Storage Networking, SAN Assessment and Design, Backup and Recovery Solutions, and Disaster Recovery Consulting. Some of his industry credentials include EMC, VMware, Brocade, Hitachi Data Systems, Symantec, and Cisco. As GreenPages’ Director of Solutions Architecture, Randy is responsible for technology leadership and product management for datacenter infrastructure solutions, including servers, storage, and converged networking technology and partnerships. Cloud enablement of datacenter technologies is another area of responsibility. His professional certifications include VCP; EMCTAs; BCSD; BCFP; CCSDS/CCSSS; HDSCP; and STS.
